Something leaking right now, or a job you are planning?

We sort that first. In an emergency we take the first step with you on the phone; for planned work we send a written quote from your photo. Tap the problem in the house.

What to do now

Water is spreading

  1. Turn the stopcock clockwise as far as it goes.
  2. Switch off the circuits for any wet sockets at the fuse box.

02Method

We listen before we open anything, and look before we set off.

  • Honest hours

Weekdays 8am to 8pm. No 24/7 promise we cannot keep; out of hours messages get a reply first thing.

  • Photo first

A photo of the fault means the right parts and fewer wasted trips.

  • Decided on site

No promise that every leak is found without opening up. We explain the method and decide with you.

  • A written trail

Every job ends with a note of the work, the parts fitted and what to watch.

What is in the detection kit

  • Thermal imaging

Shows surface heat above a leak in a hot pipe; less useful on cold pipes.

  • Acoustic detection

Listens through the floor for water escaping a pressurised pipe.

  • Pressure testing

Measures pressure loss section by section to find the leaking line.

06FAQ

What people ask us most when they call.

If you smell gas, do not call us first: call 0800 111 999.

Opening hours: Weekdays 8am to 8pm, Saturday 9am to 4pm

What should I do first if I smell gas?

Touch no switches, open windows, leave the building and call 0800 111 999 from outside. Once the emergency service has made it safe, we take over on the boiler and pipework.

Can every leak be found without opening walls?

No, and nobody can honestly promise that. Our methods usually narrow it down; if access is needed, we agree the smallest opening with you first.

Do you come out at night?

No. Out of hours messages get a reply first thing; until then, turn the water off at the stopcock.

Can you give me a price on the phone?

A figure given blind rarely holds. Send a photo and we confirm the scope in writing before we start.

Can anyone fit a gas boiler?

No. Gas work must be done by a Gas Safe registered business. You can check our details in the credentials section before booking.
