Avlu is a small studio teaching reformer, mat Pilates and yoga in two bright rooms. See this week's timetable, the spots left in every class and the pack that suits you, all on one page.

No more than 8 reformers a classCapacity equals machines, so nobody waits for a turn.
A level on every classBeginner, all levels or intermediate; easy to choose.
Flexible credit packsPause and cancellation rules written before you buy.
Meet first, then planYour first class starts with a short chat about level.
Every class states its pace, its level and who it suits. Not sure where to start? We decide together at your first class.

Controlled, breath led work with spring resistance and a gliding carriage. Basics shows you the machine step by step; Flow lifts the pace a little.
Core focused work with your own body weight, small balls and bands. A good place to learn the foundations before the reformer.
Yin moves through long, quiet holds, Hatha focuses on breath and alignment, and Vinyasa links poses into a flow. The pace of each style is on the timetable.
A session built around you, at your speed. Pick a time from the teacher's calendar, or share a duet session with a friend.
The timetable is updated every day. Each row shows the teacher, the level and the spots left by number of reformers or mats; when a class is full you can join the waiting list.
Each group class is one credit, a private session three. Pack prices are shown at checkout together with the full terms and conditions.
How often do you plan to come each week?
Cancellation and refund terms are set out in our terms and conditions and shown for your agreement at checkout.

A reformer class has as many people as machines. The teacher sees everyone and cues stay personal.
We describe what a class involves, its pace and who it suits, not what it will fix.
If you have a health condition, are pregnant or have a recent injury, please check with your doctor or physiotherapist first. Our classes are not a treatment.
Daylight, natural wood and a simple order in both rooms. Phones stay in the changing room.
Never done Pilates or yoga before? That's fine; the intro class exists for exactly that.

The mat is down, the light is on. Just turn up.
Pick a class marked Beginner on the timetable, or send the form and we'll suggest a time.
Tell us about anything that may affect how you move; if needed, we'll ask you to get professional advice first.
Wear comfortable, fitted clothes and bring grip socks. Mats and towels are at the studio.
After class, talk to your teacher about which class type and pack suit you.
Can't find your answer? Write to us and we'll try to reply the same day.
A reformer is a machine with spring resistance and a sliding carriage; it both supports and challenges each movement. Mat Pilates is done on the floor with your own body weight and small equipment. Both follow the same principles, and we talk about where to start at your first class.
We suggest Reformer Basics, Mat Pilates or Hatha yoga, all marked Beginner on the timetable. In the intro class your teacher shows you the machine and the basic movements step by step.
Join the waiting list. When someone cancels, the next person is notified and the spot opens for them. You then have one hour to confirm it.
Please speak to your doctor or physiotherapist first. Our classes are not a treatment and we don't claim they will resolve a condition. If your practitioner is happy for you to take part, tell your teacher, and movements will be adapted.
Each pack shows its validity before you buy. You can pause the Regular pack once, and up to two unused membership credits roll over to the next month. Expired credits are generally not refunded; the details are in our terms.
Tell us which class you'd like to start with and which times work for you; we'll come back with a suitable slot.
