The counter
Each card shows how many a product serves and its allergens; for prices and today’s stock, ring the shop.

Made to order, from a single tier up to three tiers.
Oven caramelised quince, vanilla sponge, clotted cream frosting.
Pistachio sponge, fresh raspberries, white chocolate cream.
Deep cocoa sponge, sour cherry compote, chocolate ganache.
Lemon curd, light sponge, torched Italian meringue.

On the counter every day; single portions or to share.
Quince poached in its own syrup, kaymak and crushed pistachio.
Crisp choux pastry, pistachio cream.
Butter pastry, vanilla custard, fruit of the season.
Boxed and ready to give; dry bakes keep for several days.
Ground almonds, fillings that change with the season.
Dark chocolate chunks; no milk, egg or butter.
Out of the oven at seven; warm until noon.
Soft dough, white cheese and nigella seeds.
Buttery layered roll with black olives.

Sourdough and a long rise; whole or sliced.
Long fermentation, stone oven, crackling crust.
Mostly rye, caraway, dense crumb.
Buckwheat and rice flour, flaxseed.
Allergen details come from our own recipes. Flour, milk, egg, nuts and sesame are all used in our atelier, so traces cannot be ruled out; if you have a severe allergy, please call us before ordering.

Everything we used to ask on the phone is in this form. We confirm availability and the deposit by message within one working day.

Atelier
We keep the counter fresh rather than crowded. Four rules apply to counter bakes and ordered cakes alike.
Counter bakes are made every morning; nothing goes back out the next day.
No margarine, no tinned fruit; when a season ends, the menu changes.
Allergens on every card, and in the confirmation for ordered cakes.
Whoever takes your order follows it through to handover.
How it works
Every order follows the same four steps.
Date, servings, flavour, theme and message in one go.
We confirm availability and the deposit by message.
Sponges the day before, decoration on the morning itself.
Ready at the shop on time, or brought in a chilled van.
Our order book closes early in busy weeks.

Each shop keeps its own hours. Choose where to collect in the form; tiered cakes are handed over at the atelier.

Monday to Saturday, 7.30 am to 7.30 pm
Closed on Sunday. Tiered cake handover.
Shop and collection
Every day, 8 am to 9 pm
Open Sunday morning. Single tier collection.
Café with seating
Tuesday to Sunday, 9 am to 10 pm
Closed on Monday. Allergen folder at the counter.

If your question is not answered here, leave us a short note.
Ask a questionAt least 3 days for a single tier, 5 days for two tiers and 10 days for three tiered and wedding cakes. Around Christmas and Valentine’s Day our order book closes earlier.
The cards come from our own recipes. Flour, milk, egg, nuts and sesame are all used in the atelier, so traces cannot be ruled out; with a severe allergy, call us before ordering.
Your order is confirmed once the deposit is paid. You can change or cancel up to 72 hours before handover; after that the deposit is not refunded.
We deliver across London in a chilled van. Single tier cakes can also be collected; tiered cakes are delivered and set up by us.
Our buckwheat loaf and macarons follow gluten free recipes and our cocoa cookie is vegan. Everything is made in one atelier, so with coeliac disease please call us first.
