02How we work

Like a survey point: fixed, measured, verifiable.

  1. Scope before quote

No proposal until we understand your size, activities and sites.

  2. Advisers by name

You know who visits and what they are qualified in before you sign.

  3. Clear lines

Responsibility stays with the employer, so we write down who does what.

03Support sizer

A few answers, and you see the shape of your support.

Regulation 7(3) of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 asks for support adequate to your size and risks.

Medium riskE.g. food production
Higher riskE.g. construction

UK law does not class workplaces by code; this is a starting point. Visit frequency is confirmed in writing after scoping.

Open details, named advisers.

Regulation 7(5) links competence to training, experience or knowledge, so we show evidence, not adjectives.

09FAQ

What employers ask first

Question not listed? Write to us.

Ask a question
How do you decide how much support we need?

We look at headcount, activities, sites and in house arrangements, then confirm the scope in writing.

We already have a safety lead. Can you work alongside them?

Yes. Regulation 7(8) prefers a competent person from your own workforce, so we support your lead rather than replace them.

Which areas do you cover?

Regular visits around Leeds, planned visit days across Yorkshire, remote advice elsewhere.

Does hiring you make you responsible for our safety?

No. Responsibility stays with the employer. We advise and help you act; the agreement lists who does what.

Is employee health information collected here?

No. Forms ask only for business details. Health records stay in our clinical system.
