Plan key
The boat is taken into the slings between two piers.
The hull is pressure washed on a sealed surface.
Boats stand on cradles sized to them, with working space left between each one.
Topside paint, varnish and spraying are done in an enclosed shed with filtered ventilation.
Engine, shaft and propeller work.
Paint residue, used oil, filters and sanding dust are kept in separate containers and handed to a licensed contractor.
A pit in the ground for deep keel yachts, so the boat stands low and stable.

Photo log

Play in the shaft bearing
While sanding we found play in the cutless bearing. We recommend replacing it; parts and time are in the quote note.
07 · Environment
No sanding, grinding or painting over the water.
In Turkey, the regulation on the environmental management of yards bans uncontrolled sanding, painting, grinding and cutting over the sea surface without proper measures. We do this work only ashore, over a collection sheet or inside the enclosed shed.
Dust extracting sanders
Sanding is done with vacuum connected machines over a sheet laid under the boat.
Wash water collected
Pressure wash water runs through channels to a collection pit and a separator.
Enclosed paint shed
Spraying and topside paint are done in a shed with filtered ventilation.
Waste kept apart
Paint residue, used oil, filters and tins are collected separately for a licensed contractor.

09 · FAQ
Questions owners ask us.
What if my boat is too big for the travel lift?
Gulets and heavy motor yachts go up the slipway on a cradle. If your figures exceed both methods, we tell you plainly and, where we can, suggest a suitable yard.
I live abroad. How do I follow the work?
We open a password protected job page for you. Stages, photos and items awaiting approval are kept there, with notifications by email or WhatsApp.
What happens if a new fault turns up?
We post a photo, a description and our recommendation on your job page. Nothing on that item starts until you approve it, and we can talk by phone first if you prefer.
Can I bring my own contractor or paint?
Yes, as long as the yard rules and our environmental practice are followed. Sanding and painting always take place ashore over a collection sheet.
What if my preferred haul out week is full?
Choose the nearest open week or join the waiting list. When a place frees up, we contact the next owner in line.
