05Security and insurance
Plainly, as it is.
We state what the store provides and, just as clearly, what is not our responsibility.
What the store has
- Recording cameras at entrance, loading bay and corridors
- Door and corridor alarms, monitored remotely after hours
- Smoke detectors and extinguishers in every corridor
- Humidity and temperature sensors, checked daily
What you should know
- Cameras do not see inside units. Nobody but you opens your unit; exceptions are set out in the contract.
- Goods are not automatically insured under our store policy. Cover, limit and excess of optional contents insurance are given in writing before you sign.
- Ask your insurer whether your home policy covers goods in storage.
- Units are not climate controlled; humidity is monitored. Keep sensitive papers in closed boxes.

When can I get into my unit?
Every day from 06:00 to 23:00 with your own PIN. Business contracts can include 24/7 access.
Are my belongings insured?
Not automatically. Optional contents insurance is available; its cover, limit and excess are given in writing before you sign.
Is the calculator result exact?
No, it is an estimate. How you take apart and stack furniture changes the result.
Do I move my things in myself?
Yes. Pallet trucks and trolleys are in the loading bay, and we can share contacts of removal firms.
Can I cancel an online reservation?
A request is not binding. For a contract made online, your 14 day right to cancel applies; details are in the pre-contract information.
